Track of the week: Luke Sital-Singh - 'Love Is Hard Enough Without the Winter'

Time for a festive (almost) track of the week. We love Luke Sital-Singh and his beautiful vocals, and he's recently shared a new track with the premise that having patience is that bit harder "when you're freezing your bits off" (his words!) A stunning track! If you're lucky enough to be heading to Luke's headline show at St Pancras Old Church in London this evening - have fun!

Gig of the week: Rae Morris at The Jazz Cafe (11th Dec)

It's been a pretty good year for Rae Morris. She released the incredible Someone Out There which has been received really well by fans and critics alike, has toured the record around the UK, supported the mighty Jungle on tour and released a beautiful duet with Tom Odell recently, alongside a whole host of other events and achievements. She's finishing off the year with what is set to be a really beautiful show, Choose Love at The Jazz Cafe, for Help Refugees. A Rae Morris gig, she'll be joined by a whole host of friends, including Fryars, Tom Odell, Billie Marten and Jack Steadman (of Mr Jukes and Bombay Bicycle Club fame.) What - a - line - up!

Have a listen to one of our favourite tunes from Rae's record below, and snap up tickets for the show, which takes place tomorrow evening and is our gig of the week top tip, here.

Track of the week: Self Help - 'Get On With It'

It's been quite the year for Oxford's Self Help - they've played at festivals like Common People and Truck, released their debut EP, scored a number one track spot in the Nightshift Magazine round-up of the year among lots more shows, radio plays and the like! They're not stopping just yet... they've got a few shows left before the year is out, including a show at The Bullingdon on 21st Dec with Lacuna Common, and they just shared brand new single Get On With It from an upcoming EP. We're digging the track so much we're making it our track of the week! Get listening.

Gig of the week: Cosmo Sheldrake at EartH Hackney (29th Nov)

We're big fans of Cosmo Sheldrake at Tigmus, so we're making his London headliner this Thursday at EartH in Hackney (previously the Hackney Arts Centre) our gig of the week! With support from I See Rivers and performing tracks from his wonderful debut album The Much Much How How & I it's sure to be a wonderful evening of live music. His set supporting Johnny Flynn at the Roundhouse last year was one of the best we caught all year so we're giving a big recommendation that you get along to this show! The last of the tickets are available here.

Track of the week: Harvey Causon - 'London Stock'

A quick read of his bio, and you'll learn that Bristol's Harvey Causon is "turning heads with his deft take on contemporary R&B, percussive electronica and powerful, brooding vocal that sounds far more world wearied than his 20 years." We've been really enjoying the beautifully soothing tunes he's put out this year, and his new track London Stock is no exception - so we're making it our track of the week!
