This week, our gig of the week is a bit of a biggie, as Public Service Broadcasting take on London's iconic Royal Albert Hall at the end of a run of Welsh tour dates this Thursday (1st Nov.) With tracks from their three brilliant studio albums and the brand new White Star Liner EP in tow, it's sure to be a brilliant evening in this historic venue, and a show we've been looking forward to for a while! General tickets sold out for the show very quickly, but there are a few tickets for the choir seats remaining on the venue website - a unique view of a pretty astounding venue!

Track of the week: Public Service Broadcasting - 'White Star Liner'
Since they premiered the material in Belfast for the BBC Music Biggest Weekend over Summer, we've been eagerly awaiting news of the new Public Service Broadcasting EP. It's a collection of songs pulling together the voices of the Titanic, specially commissioned for their set at the festival. As always from PSB, this tune is pretty special and we can't wait to hear the full studio recording of the EP! The first track from the EP, White Star Liner, is our track of the week - pre-order the EP here!

Gig of the week: Public Service Broadcasting at Eventim Apollo, London (26th Oct)
In a week that is packed out with lots of great Tigmus shows, including the Jeremy Tuplin album launch in London, Art Theefe single launch in Oxford, and shows with Sky Coloured and Luke Daniels headlining in London AND a free entry Mt Doubt show in Brighton, it's hard to choose our favourite gig from other promoters, but we're pretty sure we've chosen a total corker!
Public Service Broadcasting play the last night of their current UK tour to support the release of their third studio album Every Valley (a concept album about mining in the Welsh valleys) this Thursday with a show at Eventim Apollo, London. They're completely unique and we love all three records - seeing them live is certainly an experience worth checking out! Take a listen to Progress from the latest album below, and check out their Live In Brixton album to see what the fuss is about! Grab the last tickets for the show here, and for our shows this weekend, head to our Eventbrite page.

Track of the week: Public Service Broadcasting - 'They Gave Me A Lamp'
Our track of the week this week comes from Public Service Broadcasting, a truly unique and fantastic band who we were chuffed to catch at the Music Venue Trust show at The Roundhouse back in October. Following their brilliant 2015 record The Race for Space which uses sound samples from the BFI to relive the story of the American and Soviet space race from 1957-1972, their upcoming record Every Valley focuses on the history of the mining industry in Wales. I've had a sneak listen of the album which is set for release this Friday 7th July (alongside lots of other releases from the likes of Sivu, Lucy Rose and Haim) and it's sounding just as great as I'd hoped - get listening to They Gave Me A Lamp below!
