Tig Digs: Harry Pane 'Fletcher Bay'

He played a couple of brilliant sold out shows for us last year and we're thrilled to be working with Harry Pane again on a run of UK dates to launch his latest EP, The Wild Winds. All the dates and ticket info are available through Harry's site, and early bird tickets for some of the shows are available through Harry's Tigmus page! The first track from the EP, Fletcher Bay, was premiered yesterday and it is getting us pretty excited to hear the rest of it! The track is about a place in New Zealand where Harry visited with his father whilst travelling some years ago, and returned last year to spread his father's ashes after he tragically passed away, with the EP as a whole detailing the journey of grief and acceptance. Listen below...

You can pre-order the EP on iTunes here and follow Harry on Spotify to be alerted once it is released!

Tig Digs: Little Brother Eli 'Oceans'

Tigmus alumni and Oxford based band Little Brother Eli, have just released a superb new music video for the track Oceans, taken from their debut record Cold Tales which was released last Summer. They're a hard working and talented bunch of guys who we worked with on a really successful headline show upstairs at Oxford's O2 Academy back in October - certainly a band to keep an eye on, get watching the video below and keep an ear out for new music!

The next couple of Little Brother Eli gigs are 17th March in London, at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen and at the Reading festival Are You Listening? on 22nd April, get down and support them!

Tig Digs: Kid Kin 'Masterclash'

After a busy couple of weeks with lots of great shows and two simultaneous tours with two of our favourite Oxford bands, Lucy Leave and homeplanetearth, we've got a week until our next show so we're catching up with some of the artists who are playing for us over the next couple of months. One of those is Oxford's Kid Kin, who is touring the UK in celebration of his new single Masterclash, finishing up with a headline show for Tigmus at The Library.

The track is billed as his "most ambitious work to date", and although he's been playing it live for 2 years, Peter (AKA Kid Kin) says its taken about 18 months to finish the recording, with over 50 different instruments in the final mix. It's available to listen through Soundcloud above, and will be online to buy and stream on 3rd October. The dates for the shows in Swindon, Bristol, Chester, Liverpool, Oxford, Manchester and London are on the poster below.

Our headline Kid Kin show with Midfield Workhouse in Oxford at The Library is on November 24th, and tickets are available here (for just £3 with no booking fees.)
